V Magazine x Nicki Minaj Cover
When I first heard that Nicki Minaj was on V Magazine I began to laugh because it sounded odd and unlike V Magazine. Until I was walking in the street and passed by a news stand and saw the magazine myself. Several thoughts came to mind like: “Why her?, What was the sense of her being on the cover, and Did she even know what V Magazine was?” but then I thought to myself it’s ok that she’s on V Magazine because at least she wasn’t on Vogue, Elle, or Harper Baazar. In the new upcoming Spring issue of V magazine Minaj talks about everything from her team, music, Lady Gaga, Rihanna & Taylor Swift. Complete spread after the cut.

Story On How Lil Wayne Was Saved By An Off Duty Cop At Age 12
Lil Wayne never would have made it had it not been for big Robert Hoobler. The celebrated New Orleans rapper would have bled to death on the floor of his mother’s Hollygrove apartment the afternoon of Nov. 11, 1994, at just 12 years old, after accidentally shooting himself in the chest while playing with a 9 mm handgun.
Little Dwayne picked up the gun and began horsing around with it in front of a stereo blaring music. At about 1:15 p.m., the boy accidentally fired a bullet through his chest. The slug then shot out the lower left corner of a window. Somehow, it missed every vital organ. But the boy was dying.

D-Roll Scroll-Based Laptop Concept
The D-roll, or "digital roll," is what designer Hao Hua considers to be a "next generation laptop design," as it does away with the book-like form factor in favor of one mimicking an artist's scroll. It features one long cylindrical base from which the screen unfurls in one direction and the keyboard in another. When rolled, you can use the attached straps to carry around the D-Roll in classic purse or man-purse fashion.
