When I first heard that Nicki Minaj was on V Magazine I began to laugh because it sounded odd and unlike V Magazine. Until I was walking in the street and passed by a news stand and saw the magazine myself. Several thoughts came to mind like: “Why her?, What was the sense of her being on the cover, and Did she even know what V Magazine was?” but then I thought to myself it’s ok that she’s on V Magazine because at least she wasn’t on Vogue, Elle, or Harper Baazar.
